product information:Aramid short cuts are processed from filament yarns and can be modified to be added to a wide range of materials.
Ⅰ. Rubber with aramid addition
Aramid short-cut fibres are usually added to the rubber matrix in the form of short cuts (generally 3-6 mm in length), mainly for reinforcement, fatigue and abrasion resistance.
Our aramid short-cut fibres are RFL treated to disperse well into the rubber and avoid agglomeration.
We can make customised short cuts in special sizes and lengths, and according to customers’ needs to add dispersant in advance or not.
Ⅱ. Clutch Friction Plate
Aramid short-cut fibres provide strong mechanical support for the clutch facings, improving strength and impact resistance, effectively absorbing vibrations, reducing noise and judder, enhancing comfort.
The characteristics of chopped aramid fibres enable them to withstand high-temperature environments, maintain material structural stability, and reduce friction performance thermal degradation.
When used on clutch plates, it can prevent cracking and chipping, significantly improve wear resistance, extend service life, and help stabilise friction performance.
